The Free Option

Amazon Prime Video holds rights to selected Champions League matches and makes them available to all Prime subscribers at no extra cost. Amazon Prime costs £8.99 per month or £95 per year — many households already subscribe for the delivery benefits. Check the TNT Sports on Prime Video section for the UCL fixture schedule and which matches are included in your subscription.

Highlights are available free on BBC iPlayer and the UEFA website. ITV occasionally sub-licenses matches for free broadcast — worth checking their schedule around knockout stages.

Full Coverage Options

TNT Sports (full subscription via Discovery+) — around £30 per month. This is the primary UK home of Champions League football. Full group stage and knockout coverage, including both legs of every tie. Discovery+ offers TNT Sports on a rolling monthly contract with no annual commitment — cancel after the final if you only want the tournament.

Sky Sports with TNT Sports add-on — around £43–55 per month. If you want Premier League, Championship and European football in one package. Sky bundles TNT Sports as an add-on and the combined package is good value if you watch a lot of football across competitions.

BT TV with TNT Sports — broadly similar pricing to Sky. Better option if your broadband is with BT — bundling often brings the total monthly cost down.

Watching Without a Contract

TNT Sports via Discovery+ is the most flexible option — monthly rolling, cancel any time, streams on Smart TV, phone, tablet or laptop. No engineer visit, no 18-month contract.
